The Easter to Pentecost Campaign
TASMCM
Dear Friends,
On behalf of The Academy for Small Membership Church Ministries, we hope you had a Happy Easter. As we know, Easter marks the end of Jesus’ physical ministry on earth. Through the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, Jesus' disciples, and the disciples after them, you and I are tasked with sharing God’s love and forgiveness.
The Academy needs your financial support as we help small membership churches thrive by advocating, celebrating, teaching, and serving small membership churches.
Please help us with:
The Easter to Pentecost Campaign:
Helping Small Membership Churches Become the Church of ACTS
This year, we are adding three new classes:
- Leadership in a Small Membership Church
- Meaningful Visitation in Hospitals and Retirement Homes
- Trauma-Informed Theology
All of these courses help both lay and pastoral leaders develop their skills.
We will also be hosting four workshops this year:
- New Beginnings – for pastors and churches with new appointments
- Hope for Small Membership Churches: Rediscovering God's Promise - helping small membership churches move past hopelessness to HOPE!
- Mental Health First Aid – designed to help you identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults
We invite you to visit The Academy’s website to learn more about our classes, workshops, and resources.
Our goal is to raise $7,000 between Easter and Pentecost Sunday, May 19, 2024, which will help The Academy continue providing programs that help small membership churches thrive.
Please visit our Donate page to give online or mail a check to The Academy for Small Membership Church Ministries, 590 120 Street, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
We give thanks for your commitment to small membership churches and give thanks in advance for your support.
Sincerely,
Rev. Dr. Carl K. Ellis
